My research interests include spatial and spatio-temporal statistics, stochastic processes, nonparametric statistics, neural networks, and applied statistics.
A major focus of my research has been spatial processes on spheres and circles, including covariance and variogram modeling, intrinsic random functions, spectral methods, and kriging. I am also interested in connections between classical statistical methods and modern machine learning methods, particularly neural networks and Gaussian processes.
