All foster and adoptive families are required to carry an active First Aid and CPR certification. The full course certification is an eight-hour training which includes a scheduled lunch break. The re-certification classes are four hours with one fifteen-minute break scheduled during the session (re-certifications can only be completed if you are within a 30-day window of expiration, if you are past that you will be required to complete a full course).
