We are also happy to have a our sponsor this year, Ms.Kirk, who can be contacted at Bailey_Kirk@dekalbschoolsga.org.
Our former captain, Catherine Cossaboom, has developed an online program and community to empower and inspire girls in math called GLeaM (Girls Leading through Mathematics) at www.gleammath.com.
Encourage your students to join and become members of a very supportive global community, read almost 50 articles discussing fascinating topics ranging from infinite hotels to how to succeed on the AMC, and learn what the fourth dimension has to do with Monster's Inc! There is also a resources hub full of options for competitions and opportunities around Atlanta, and many forums for students to discuss any topic with each other and the founder. Catherine is very passionate about mentoring and supporting all of her members' needs, and you are more than welcome to reach out to catherine@gleammath.com with any questions, comments, or requests for advice.
Though the website is catered toward empowering girls, boys are allowed to join so long as they support the community. Looking forward to seeing you there!
