Getting Set Up

Adjusting the headset:
1. Adjust back strap until it cradles your head
2. Adjust top strap so it rests comfortable on your face.
3. Toggle the bottom left slider until the picture is clear.
You will know you’re wearing the headset correctly when it’s resting lightly on you face and the picture appears clearly.
Guardian Setup:
· Remember to always wear your Touch wrist straps when in VR
· When putting on the headset for the first time you should see what we call "Passthrough".
· Passthrough allows you to take a quick look at the outside world to help you get oriented in space while wearing the device.
· Passthrough is essential in creating your Play Area.
Calibrate your play area:
1. “Setting the Floor”
a. Gently place your controller on the ground and look at it. You should see a virtual grid appear near the floor.
b. Once the grid is correctly locked at floor height, it “Continue”
2. Create guardian:
· Use the right handset trigger button and draw the guardian area.
· “Accept” the guardian area.
Oculus HOME:
1. Find the dashboard and a monitor screen. (May have to spin around)
2. The dashboard has the gear icon (settings) on the far left
3. Locate the Apps Icon (9 dots) in the middle of the dashboard
4. Use the right trigger to select the icon. Using your joystick scroll down to select an app.
