Entrances
We will have the following entrances:
Activities Entrance: (Pink Star) This entrance is located on the south side of our new gymnasium. Bus drivers should enter from Hwy 136 and pull up to the doors to drop off students; busses can then exit to the street on the left (to the south) to get back to Hwy 136 and park in one of the assigned areas (see school map). Patron parking is available near this entrance as well.
Main Entrance: (Yellow Star) If parking in the lot in front of the school or in the lot across from the school (along Hwy 136), there is a sidewalk leading to our office main entrance. NO BUSSES should use the circle drive to this entrance – the turn-around is too tight.
Spectator Parking
Beyond the school parking lots, spectators may park in the bus circle behind the school and along 6th Ave.
The Aquin Elementary parking lot (requires going around a few blocks to get to)
To reach this lot, after dropping students off at the activities entrance, return to Hwy 136/Johnson St.
Turn right (south)
Take the very first right on Hwy 136/Johnson St
Head west 1 block – the parking lot is on the other side of the limestone church you will see on your right
Otting Body Shop (just across Hwy 136/Johnson St. from us) along the east side of the street. If parking behind Otting Body Shop, DO NOT park on either side of the street by D and D trucking buildings immediately behind Otting’s; please pull further up the street.
Bus Drop Off and Bus Parking:
Students and props should load/unload in front of the school’s Activities Entrance. DO NOT PARK HERE.
Buses and school vehicles with trailers will need to park at the American Legion across town to help keep building parking available for spectators. We will have a van to shuttle bus and van drivers to and from the parking at American Legion.
