WE ARE HOSTING!
The Chelmsford High School Theatre Guild will be a host site in the preliminary round of the Massachusetts Educational Theatre Guild Festival. The following schools will be performing at our site: Acton Boxboro, Amesbury, Billerica, Medford, Methuen, North Andover, and the Sizer School. We are so excited and honored to have these guest schools. Prelims will take place on March 2nd, and tickets to view the shows will be available for purchase. CHSTG and ACT will work hand-in-hand on this fabulous day of festival. Donations of food/snacks to serve at lunch can be directed towards ACT, as well as any intent to volunteer!
"Our Town" is a metatheatrical three-act play by American playwright Thornton Wilder. Under direction from Katie Clarke, theatre teacher at Endicott College, the story of the fictional tiny town of Grover's Corners will come to life on the PAC stage! The show follows the everyday lives of Grovers Corners citizens and their intertwining relationships as they age. This production will take place January 24th, 25th, and 26th. To get your tickets, visit Chelmsford High Schools home page.
The CHS Theatre Guild will be having a Miscast!
Females will perform songs traditionally sung by a male character, and males will perform songs traditionally sung by a female character.
The event itself will take place on January 4th in the Black Box Theatre and admission will be $12.
Half of the proceeds are going to charity, specifically to Dana-Farber.
We hope to see you there!
