REGISTRATION
Participation in Chrono Seal requires an entry fee of €5. Access to the contest also requires the purchase of a ticket for Play Bologna.
To participate, you must complete the online registration by filling out the dedicated form with your details and a brief description of the piece you intend to present. Registration will open in April 2026 and close on May 15 at 1:00 PM.
Miniatures must be delivered in person on May 22nd from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM and on May 23 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Entries submitted after these times will not be accepted.
The award ceremony will take place on May 23, 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Ludus Magnus booth during Play Bologna 2026. Winners will receive a purchase voucher worth €100 (Gold Seal), €50 (Silver Seal), and €25 (Bronze Seal). There will be a surprise for each participant. Miniatures can be collected at the end of the ceremony.

The contest is divided into two categories:
Single Figure
Single Figure
This category is dedicated to a single miniature from the Nova Aetas Chronicles universe. The miniature must be assembled and painted on an appropriate base. Models of any size are allowed, as long as they are presented as a single piece. Only official Ludus Magnus miniatures are permitted, in any format (resin, plastic, or official STL files). Additional elements, modifications, or conversions are not allowed.
Open
Open
This category is dedicated to more complex and creative projects.
It includes

dioramas
narrative scenes
groups of figures
conversions
The entries must be consistent with the aesthetic and tone of the Nova Aetas Chronicles universe.
The miniatures used must be predominantly official Ludus Magnus ones. Additional and scratch-built elements are allowed, as long as the final result is clearly tied to the Ludus Magnus universe and not to external IPs.

Each participant may submit up to two entries per category.
All entries must be created by a single artist, including any conversion work, sculpting, and basing.
Miniatures must be delivered and collected in person by the participant or their representative at the Ludus Magnus booth during Play 2026 – BolognaFiere.
The entries do not need to be game-play usable.
All miniatures must be fully assembled and painted. Incomplete entries will not be accepted.
Miniatures must be securely attached to their base or display support. Display plinths are allowed, provided they are safe and easy to handle.
The base size must be specified in the registration form.
Entries that have already been presented in other competitions are allowed.
In the Single Figure category, miniatures must be official Ludus Magnus models, with no modifications or conversions.
Additional and scratch-built elements are only allowed in the Open category.
Explicit references to political or religious content, or to themes that may be offensive, discriminatory, or harmful to others’ sensibilities, are not permitted.
The jury may request clarification regarding the execution or concept of an entry if it is not immediately clear.

Participation in Chrono Seal implies acceptance of these rules.
The organization is not responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the entries.
By taking part in the contest, participants authorize Ludus Magnus SRL to photograph and record the submitted works, as well as to use their images for communication and publication across any channel, including website, social media, and promotional materials.
Participants also grant permission for the possible use of their image in content related to the contest and future editions of Chrono Seal.
Winners will be announced during the event and through official channels, using the participants’ names and images of their works.
Prizes must be collected in person during the event.
The jury will consist of Ludus Magnus members selected by the organization.
The jury’s decisions are final.
