Hi! I’m Yang Song (pronounced “Young Soong” in English). Welcome to my website!

I hold a PhD in Transportation Engineering from Smart Mobility Lab at the Pennsylvania State University and currently work as a Data Scientist at ElectroTempo Inc., a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) startup specializing in EV charging network planning and intelligence.

My research and professional experience focus on transportation electrification. I specialize in modeling EV driver behavior, planning charging infrastructure, and integrating vehicles with the grid to enable intelligent and sustainable transportation systems. Methodologically, I employ optimization, machine learning, and simulation to address complex challenges in this field.
