I was chosen as one of 64 artists to paint a larger than life fiberglass Bucky Badger, the mascot for the University of Wisconsin for the city of Madison's Bucky On Parade Public Art Event. My statue, "Bucky On Guard", was located right outside of the state capitol and on display from May through September of 2018. It will be permanently on display at Two Men and a Truck - Madison, a premier sponsor of Bucky On Parade.
I designed and painted a 30 foot diameter center ice circle for the City of Merrill's ice hockey arena. Oct. 2018
I was asked to paint a tropical mural on the side of a local restaurant with some of my students the summer of 2015. I received permission from an artist friend of mine, Miles Mason to reproduce one of his tropical art pieces. This was completed in one week with 5 13 year old girls under my guidance as their art teacher.
I was awarded 2 separate grants to run a chalk fest along a community trail with my students.
I have organized and directed numerous large scale student mural projects that are located throughout my school district and community.
