I am a member of the Editorial Board for Mandenkan, a journal specializing in Mande linguistics. I am also a member of the Scientific Committee for Linguistique et Langues Africaines. I am also a member of the Editorial Board for the Contemporary African Linguistics series at Language Science Press.

I am currently the Treasurer of the Association for Contemporary African Linguistics.

In my free time, I most enjoy spending time with my husband, Gary. We're avid "foodies" and enjoy traveling locally and around the world to try new and exciting dishes and wines, in particular.
