Hello, I am Christopher Akuka Akurugu, a graduate student pursuing a master’s degree in geology with a research focus in geohydrology. I grew up in a small community in the Upper East region of Ghana, where access to water, sanitation and hygiene were major problems. My personal and professional journey has been shaped by a deep commitment to addressing these challenges. My career aspirations are rooted in the field of hydro-geophysics and hydrogeology, with a focus on groundwater sustainability. I aim to contribute to informed decision-making in water resource management. I have extensive experience as a teaching and research assistant. I have a strong background in geophysical and geohydrology field studies. Additionally, I possess proficient skills in Python programming and time series data analysis.
