Hello!
I am Christodoulos (Chris) Nikiforou. I am a 25-year-old dual-citizen of the U.S. and Cyprus (Europe). I have a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and a Minor in Computer Science from the University of Cyprus and I'm currently pursuing a Master's AI and Business Analytics at the University of South Florida.
My interests and free time activities include listening to music or playing the guitar or even the drums occasionally. I also enjoy playing games, especially with friends, either online or board games. When the weather allows it I go for walks, biking, a swim at the beach or even camping. Additionally, I love playing ping pong or if I want to relax, I read a book or watch a movie. I have even been president for the cinematography club at the University of Cyprus, where we screened a movie every Thursday and organized events such as Halloween parties, Valentines specials and movie marathons.
Over the years I pursued other hobbies that taught me lots of valuable soft skills. I was part of an artistic gymnastics team, got a black belt and two dan in karate, was part of a robotics team, two entrepreneurship teams, winning a first and a second place, a scout for seven years and in a band, playing for over 2000 people. Through these experiences I learned to have self discipline, respect myself and others, follow orders and commands, learned to work in a team, present in front of audiences and how to be a leader. I also learned how to manage my time, responsibilities and other people in my team, which proved very helpful both in university and in my professional experience.
