Remember to bring back the rebar tree stand you have from last year and get a replacement stand put on your tree at no charge this year.
BIG TREES
Because so many trees were lost due to excessive heat in 2021, we didn't have many trees over 9 feet this year. And since it takes as many years to grow as a tree is tall (roughly), there won't be many available for the foreseeable future either (8+ years).
We won't really know what's available until October (and will have made out first request in August.) Many tree farms were devastated in 2021 and it will take years to recover.
As supply dwindles, the cost of trees go up. Many people this year may have switched to fake trees. A good one is still 3 or 4 times the cost of the same real tree, but it will last for years [3 or 4 certainly.] Still though, you can tell the difference and going to the garage to get your christmas tree just isn't the same as coming to a tree lot to pick one out; the first is a lonely chore, the second can be a family adventure.
