My Story
Hi everyone, I am Steph Staub. I grew up here in Oil City and have lived here all of my life except for the short time I attended college in Edinboro (talk about snow!). While growing up one of my absolute favorite activities in the winter was driving around and looking at all the amazing Christmas lights. I remember one display located on Oil City's Northside that my family and I gave the name of "Santaland". My late Uncle would always take us here every single year. It sadly is no longer there so I have searched for the next best display. So did my uncle and as we got older he started his own light display for his grandchildren. He went all out every year and it was always so much fun to see. He loved Christmas and the joy it brought to others. So in the spirit of Christmas and in the memory of my Uncle Steve, I decided that I wanted to share where I thought some of the most amazing lights in our region are. Giving families a COVID friendly way to enjoy the holiday season. Now remember this is just my opinion...so please be kind! I hope to find as many displays as possible to share with all of you.
