This Privacy Policy explains how Yaya Tools & calculators ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the mobile application Christmas Gift List & Budget (the "App"), distributed on Google Play under the package name com.yaya.giftplanner.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The short version. Your gift lists, the people on them, your prices and your budget stay on your device. We never see them and we never upload them to our servers. The only information that leaves your phone is technical data collected by Google's advertising and crash-reporting services, described in section 3.

The App is designed to work without an account. When you use it, you may create content such as:
Names or nicknames of the people you are buying gifts for
Gift names, descriptions, notes, prices, store names and web links
Budget amounts, currency preference and spending records
Gift status (idea, to buy, ordered, bought, wrapped) and event dates
[IF PHOTOS ARE SUPPORTED] Photos you choose to attach to a gift
This content is stored locally on your device in the App's private storage. It is not transmitted to us, it is not stored on our servers, and we have no technical ability to access it. If you back up your device using Google's Android Backup service, a copy may be included in your own Google account backup, which is governed by Google's privacy policy rather than ours.
The App uses third-party services from Google that collect limited technical information for advertising, crash reporting and usage analytics. We do not control what these services collect beyond the settings we configure.

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or date of birth
We do not access your contacts, call logs, SMS messages or calendar
We do not collect precise GPS location
We do not record audio or video
We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone
Internet and network state — required to load ads and report crashes. All core features work offline.
Advertising ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) — used by AdMob to limit ad repetition and, where you have consented, to personalize ads.
Photos and media (optional) — only requested if you choose to attach a photo to a gift. Photos remain on your device.
Notifications (optional) — only if you enable reminders. You can revoke this at any time in Android settings.
The App is supported by advertising. You have several controls:
Reset or delete your advertising ID in Android under Settings → Privacy → Ads. Deleting it stops personalized advertising across all apps on the device.
Opt out of personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.
EEA, UK and Switzerland — on first launch you are shown a consent dialog provided through Google's User Messaging Platform. You may accept or refuse personalized advertising, and you can change your choice at any time from the App's Settings screen. Refusing consent does not restrict any App feature; you will see non-personalized ads instead.
Where the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) for personalized advertising and for optional analytics.
Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) for crash reporting, security, fraud prevention and non-personalized advertising necessary to fund a free application.
Content you create in the App is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Uninstalling permanently deletes it.
Crash reports are retained by Google Firebase for up to 90 days.
Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months.
Advertising data retention is governed by Google's own policies.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to request a portable copy of it.
EEA and UK residents — rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
California residents — rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, to delete, to correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined by the CCPA. We do not knowingly process the personal information of consumers under 16.
Brazil residents — rights under the LGPD (Lei nº 13.709/2018).
Canada and Australia residents — rights under PIPEDA and the Australian Privacy Principles respectively.
Because gift list content never reaches us, the fastest way to delete it is to remove it in the App or uninstall the App. For anything held by Google's services on our behalf, contact us at [SUPPORT@YOURDOMAIN.COM] and we will respond within 30 days.
The App is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over, and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at [SUPPORT@YOURDOMAIN.COM] and we will delete it.
Google's services may process data on servers located outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, such transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another approved transfer mechanism implemented by Google.
Content you create is held in the App's private storage area, which Android isolates from other applications. Network traffic to Google's services is encrypted in transit using TLS. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. [IF APP LOCK EXISTS] You can add a PIN or biometric lock in Settings for an additional layer of privacy.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the App or in applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change accordingly. Material changes will be announced in the App's release notes on Google Play. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
