Equitation Coaching- Offered to horse owners looking to gain a partnership with their horse. Christine has a talent for transforming horses by using a soft, systematic approach. Using her background in colt breaking, she believes the horse is continuously developing through the guidance of their handlers.
By understanding the horse’s instincts and motivations, intention driven body language can be developed and used as a clear line of communication. With this relationship, the rider will blossom with confidence in working with their horse in and out of the saddle.
Christine provides a mobile service, coaching horse and rider pairs in ground work and/or riding at your facility. Sessions can be booked as often or as limited as needed. Christine additionally provides equine behavior consults and behavior modification planning.
Have fun with your horse!
You are your horse are unique! To keep things fun, progressive, and affordable, let’s talk about your goals (both short and long term) and design a program that fits your individual needs.
Christine is a certified equine sports massage therapist (CESMT) and reiki practitioner.
What is massage? Massage is the hands on stroking or manipulation of the horse to increase circulation, improve muscle tone, increase range of motion, and relax the body.
It is essential to understand massage isn't a 'spa' treatment for a horse to make them simply feel good, but rather a holistic path for the horse to get-well. For that reason, it is recommended the horse is on a massage schedule based on their needs and performance.
Not a substitute for veterinary care

As equestrians, are we athletes? YES!
Although our sport is unique with the added factor of the horse, we are still relying on many actions that many other sports require. Some of these are balance, symmetry, core strength, stamina, and body awareness. To become better riders, whether seeking more ribbons in competition or to gain a better partnership with your horse, working on your complete development as a rider is essential.
Cross-training will take zero time out of the saddle and has several benefits. Because Ride Right is a cross-training program designed for equestrians it is enjoyable and understandable. The exercises will help identify where weaknesses are and be challenging. You will see results! Keeping in mind the typical lifestyle of the equestrian, these exercises are also convenient.
Reminder, cross-training does not take time out of the saddle or replace your riding instructor.
