at the ERM2019, Helsinki, Finland
I'm Christian, staff scientist in the Visual Neuroscience Lab at the University of Oldenburg, not too far away from the North Sea coast of Germany.
After studying biology here in Oldenburg, I moved to Frankfurt, Germany, where I graduated in 2009 with a PhD in Neurobiology which I received for my work on retinal anatomy at the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research. As a postdoc, I was trained in retinal electrophysiology at the University of Washington, Seattle.
I answered Martin Greschner's call in 2015, returned to Oldenburg and obtained a permanent position in his lab.
