Sustainability Reasoning and Analysis

An introduction to the analytical and ethical foundations of sustainability policy. Topics include ESG frameworks, voluntary regulation, environmental justice, the green growth and degrowth debate, and sustainability governance. The course is project-based and emphasizes the evaluation of competing claims about sustainability outcomes.

A foundational course on the theory and practice of public policy, with attention to policy formulation, implementation, and evaluation across institutional settings.

Previous teaching

I was a Teaching Assistant at the University of Washington for several courses and received the Department of Political Science Best Teaching Assistant Award in 2018. My TA work spanned political methodology (research methods, inferential statistics, regression), comparative politics, political economy, international politics, world politics, environmental politics, religion in politics, and international law. I also served as a mentor in the University of Washington Honors Program.
