I am an associate professor of mathematics at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. Before working at Furman, I spent three years at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon. I grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, received my undergraduate degree (in mathematics and philosophy) from Dickinson College, and received my Ph.D. in mathematics from Temple University.
I live with my wife, Jennifer Grier, and our three cats: Teddywaffles, Carly, and Littlefoot. Jennifer is a clinical associate professor of immunology at University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville.
In my free time, I enjoy running, hiking, watching movies, reading sci-fi & fantasy, and hanging out with our cats!
