Debojyoti Dey: bebojyot[AT]campus.technion.ac.il
Debojyoti is a postdoctoral researcher in the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering with an interest in the theory of optimization and Machine learning. His current research focuses on analyzing total positivity of matrices and their variation bounding properties on generalized spaces, which has major implications in control theory and fundamental learning problems like regularized regression. He earned his PhD and Master's degree in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. In his PhD, he worked on efficient parameter learning in non-convex and robust optimization problems for Generalized Linear Models, distribution learning for graphical models, etc. He joined CAOSLab in November, 2025.
