Launched her career on Broadway during the national tour of Les Miserables, where she apprenticed in the wardrobe, hair & makeup departments during her time off from stage. A performer since the age of 3yrs old, her mother was her first influence in the realm of costume design. "When I came to California and started working student films at USC. I made a point to work in every department from Art to Vanities...even grip and AC. Productions are a body of connected parts. My understanding and empathy for what each department is doing makes me a better creative collaborator."
Collins continues to work in film and television, as well as being a recording artist. Aside from her previous recording work with Micheal Jackson and Little Richard, her latest tracks include drummer Clem Burke from "Blondie", and Cheetah Crome. "Music is a part of me, whether i'm singing or writing, I will keep doing it until I stop breathing"
You can also find her designing or collaborating with Artists like Elizabeth Mcgrath, Dan Quintana Art, Karen Hsiao Photography, Mark Ryden and Shepard Fairey.
"I'm most passionate about creating and building characters. That shows in my music and film work. Whether I'm in front or behind the camera, my commitment level is the same. I have an advantage of a 360' point of view with all my experience... I just Love the Work!"
