Some clients find it helpful to be challenged so that they can break out of old modes of thinking and behaving whereas other clients find it beneficial to utilise their existing ways of being.
Whichever way suits you best, I'm confident to work in that manner in order to enhance your quality of life.
My long-term experience enables me to offer effective therapy to a wide cross section of clients from a diverse population.
I non-judgmentally counsel a range of emotional and psychological difficulties with adults of all ages and backgrounds - helping them move forward to where they want to be in their lives.
Whether you'd feel more comfortable speaking to a counsellor via video so you can see facial expressions or via telephone so you can maintain a level of privacy; either of these can be accommodated.
What I've discovered to be a useful aim is usually to establish a rapport so that clients can quickly begin to experience some of the effectiveness of therapy.
I'm also aware that some clients might prefer to spend longer at the start, telling their story in a linear manner before we begin; in order to explore aspects of their experiences in greater depth.
