Hello, I'm Chris Rose, a person-centred counsellor, originally from Wales, living in West Yorkshire.
I have a BSc in Person Centred Counselling from University of Brighton, where I gained a solid understanding of counselling theories and techniques. I am committed to ongoing professional development and regularly attend training courses and workshops to enhance my skills and knowledge.
I offer a welcoming, confidential and non-judgmental therapeutic space where clients can feel comfortable and safe to explore what's on their mind.
I strive to establish and maintain improved emotional wellbeing within clients.
Your goals from therapy will be established, then explored to a level that feels comfortable in order to gain broader self-awareness, greater self-acceptance and inner peace.
Counselling can help to harness your existing inner resources to work through the challenges you're currently facing.
I'll facilitate helping individuals to prioritise your concerns, adapt your coping strategies and beginning to come to terms with life's difficult events.
This is achieved by empathically accepting that your struggles are valid while building your realistic, achievable goals for the present or future.
