Chris Lockwood is a native of Mason City, Iowa.  He attended the University of Northern Iowa receiving his Bachelor of Music Education and then at The University of Akron receiving a Master of Music Performance in Tuba.

He is currently the principal tubist for the Mankato Symphony Orchestra and store manager for The Music Mart location in Rochester, MN.  

He is a former public school teacher of 12 years and has played in various ensembles including the Metropolitan Brass Quintet, Rochester Community Band, Mason City Municipal Band, and The Notochords.

He resides in Rochester, Minnesota with his two cats, Satchmo and Melody.
