ChrisLister helps users transfer vehicle listing information from a vehicle website into Facebook Marketplace after the user explicitly chooses the Import command.
ChrisLister may process vehicle listing content such as year, make, model, price, mileage, specifications, photos, VIN, stock number, and the source listing URL. It also stores a local history of vehicles the user has marked as posted.
Vehicle data is processed locally in the browser to prepare and autofill a Facebook Marketplace vehicle listing. Photos are fetched from their source URLs and handed to Facebook only as part of the user-requested import. VIN is retained only when available for local posted-history matching and is not autofilled into Facebook.
ChrisLister does not send vehicle data, browsing activity, or posted history to the ChrisLister developer or to an analytics or advertising service. Data is sent to Facebook only when necessary to perform the Marketplace autofill requested by the user.
Posted-history records and the currently pending listing are stored using Chrome extension local storage. The pending listing is removed after the user presses Facebook's final Publish button. Posted history can be cleared from ChrisLister Settings.
ChrisLister requests website access at runtime when the user chooses Import. It does not require permanent access to all websites at installation. Access is used to read the selected vehicle listing, retrieve its images, and autofill Facebook Marketplace.
ChrisLister does not sell personal data, use data for advertising, build user profiles, or use data for credit, lending, insurance, employment, housing, or other eligibility decisions.
