PLANETARY PARCELS
Previously I have only worked in fairly small scale when it comes to environment art, so creating a larger environment is how I'm going to challenge myself. By the time this project is completed I want to be able to put this piece into my portfolio and use it as a way to get onto a Studio II project I'd like to work on, or alternatively this project could also be used to further develop a game to pitch for Studio II.
I'd also like to use this project as an opportunity to simulate what it could be like to work in the industry. Through the professional environment that we are creating in the class it will be nice to gain a better understanding of what it means to be an environment artist. Furthering my skills in areas that I'm already proficient in, such as modeling and texturing, is something that I look forward to especially when gaining different perspectives from peers in class. This project will also help me manage my time more efficiently when it comes to providing assets in a professional environment.

Retro-Futurism Style
The year is 2759. Humanity has made leaps and bound in scientific discoveries, particularly space. Intergalactic travel is as common as flying in an airplane. With new civilizations, human or not, popping up around the universe, someone has to deliver mail.
Players are in their mid-20's, fresh out of college, working at the corporate office of Planetary Parcels, the Milky Way's leading intergalactic and interplanetary mail delivery service. Whatever you need shipped, they'll send it... no matter what it is. After being fed up by your 60 hour work weeks you go to confront your boss. Walking into his office you see that there are three men holding him down on his desk. The three men notice you and a fight ensues. After managing to defeat them you talk with your boss and there is only one opening in a different department of the company, which also happens to be the most dangerous: delivery.
Players start the level by going into the lobby (bottom right)
They make it up the stairs and into the first large office floor
Office floors are where players can gather items and resources
Small puzzles and interactions are also found in office floors and need to be completed before advancing
There are three office floors to get through before reaching the fourth floor which has the boss fight
When reaching the fourth floor, players walk through a long hallway to reach the final office environment before the boss fight
