Christopher Salis: Applying His Experience in Guiding Others

Actualizing a business idea needs a person to put his efforts, be consistent, and wait with patience. However, apart from it, a person also needs the guidance of a seasoned mentor like Christopher.

Being a start-up advisor, Christopher Salis can be relied upon for helping any business take off. He guides start-ups using different philosophies such as Lean Start-up philosophy and the Getting Things Done method.

However, things were not like this for him since always, and even he had to work with his diligence. Also a tech industry veteran, he started his journey after completing his education at Purdue University. Later, he began working with Adecco Employment Services, a leading name in HR solutions.

After bringing great results to Adecco while serving as the IT Procurement manager, he left the company. He later started working with GAP Inc, where he handled Strategic Sourcing. Salis has also worked as the Manager of Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and Operational Excellence at eBay.

Later, he joined Business Objects as the Senior Manager of Procurement. After years of continuous efforts, he got the opportunity to serve as the Executive Director in the next four years. Owing to his diligent efforts, he was offered the position of Vice President at SAP. After applying his continuous efforts, he reached the position of Global Vice President.

While earning his extensive experience exceeding two decades, he has led many teams and has guided several co-workers too. He is of the opinion that employees are one of the most crucial assets that a company owns. Due to this, he never fails to encourage and guide his co-workers.

He firmly believes in coming up with mutual efforts and entire dedication. He has always mentored others to work with full diligence rather than looking for any shortcuts. Another quality of Salis that helps him to stand out from the crowd is his continuous learning skills.

No matter if it is his professional life or outside the boundaries of his office, he leaves no opportunity to collect knowledge. Even when it comes to his personal life, he follows the same belief over there too.

Christopher Salis is a father of two young sons and feels blessed to be a parent. Apart from it, he also sees parenting as an opportunity to learn and teach others what he has learned. With his experience, he guides new parents with challenges associated with parenting.
