Art is a process, initiated to produce phenomena which impacts the viewer with a novel perspective. This process must account for all aspects leading to the manifestation of the artwork, and only by weighing the environmental, social and economic impacts necessary for its creation, can the intent of the author be considered. I place value on natural systems and mankind’s ability to integrate positively with them. I grow generative aesthetics by employing biological processes with the goal of creating regenerative impacts on the environment. By examining the anxiety that is triggered by society's strained relationship with Nature, I hope to expose new methodologies of material and artistic production informed by biological systems.
