I am a second year mathematics PhD student at McGill University, supervised by Marcin Sabok and Piotr Przytycki. I study geometric group theory. In particular, I am interested in hyperbolic groups and their generalizations, as well as actions of groups on various non-positively curved spaces such as buildings, CAT(0) cube complexes and hyperbolic graphs. I also enjoy working on problems in group theory related to descriptive set theory, such as hyperfiniteness of Borel actions of groups on topological spaces. I am open to exploring various problems in geometric group theory as well as other topics in algebra and geometry.
