I am a fourth year mathematics PhD candidate at McGill University, supervised by Marcin Sabok and Piotr Przytycki. I study geometric group theory. In particular, I am interested in hyperbolic groups and their generalizations, algorithmic problems in group theory, as well as actions of groups on various non-positively curved spaces such as buildings, CAT(0) cube complexes and hyperbolic graphs. I also enjoy working on problems in measured group theory and at the intersection of group theory and descriptive set theory, such as hyperfiniteness of Borel actions of groups on standard Borel spaces.Â
