My CV is below so I'll avoid the academic stuff, but here's a little bit about me outside of that:

I grew up in a small town in southwest Michigan, but have since lived in Michigan, Texas, Kansas, and now Nevada. I used to do a lot of nature photography, shooting mostly birds, large mammals, and invertebrates, but have been happily busy taking care of my son for the last year. I'm also a huge music aficionado. I am constantly looking for new music, going to concerts, and perusing record stores. Typically I listen to alternative rock, but my tastes overall are pretty diverse.
