My name is Chris Ford and I am thrilled to introduce myself as a candidate vying for a seat on the Blaine City Council.

With 21 years of dedication to firefighting, including thirteen years as a captain in Rochester, MN, I bring a wealth of experience and a profound commitment to public service. Following my retirement, I made the deliberate choice to call Blaine my home and actively engaged in community affairs as a current Park Board member and member of the Neighborhood Traffic Commission for our city.

In addition to my civic contributions, I take immense pride in my role as a paraprofessional at Blaine High School. There I am privileged to have a role in the educational development of our local youth.

Drawing on my background in public safety, community service, and firsthand understanding of Blaine residents' needs, I am eager to offer my service on the City Council. My unwavering passion for the community and established track record equip me to effectively address the challenges and exciting opportunities that lie ahead for our city.

I extend an invitation for you to delve deeper into my vision and candidacy. As a first-time candidate, I am diligently constructing a grassroots campaign and am fully committed to achieving success not only on Election Day but also in the council's day-to-day work. I respectfully seek your support in this journey.
