Chris Collett is a passionate beekeeper in Stonehaven, tending to just a handful of beehives scattered across our beautiful region. Each hive, situated in diverse locations, produces unique honey, capturing the essence of the seasons and weather.

Why Choose Our Honey?

1.    Location-Based Excellence: We extract and jar honey according to the specific hive locations, allowing you to savour the distinct flavours of Aberdeenshire. This process may add a slight overhead, but we believe it's worth it for the richness it brings to your palate.

2.    Pure and Unprocessed: Our honey undergoes a gentle extraction and jarring process without any heating. Filtered through a double strainer, it retains more of the natural goodness, including pollen and propolis. While early crystallization may occur, it's a sign of natural, unpasteurized honey. Easily return it to its liquid state with gentle warming below 38°C, mirroring the hive's temperature.

3.    Spring Elixir: Explore our spring to early summer collection, sourced from hives placed on Oil Seed Rape fields. High in glucose, this honey sets quickly, demanding swift extraction. Our careful process involves a warming cabinet set at 35°C, to return honey to liquid, before stirring.
