CSWAT - SWAT Resolves high-risk or potentially hazardous incidents occurring at state facilities. SWAT also serves as a rapid deployment force and provides counter-assault team support to the Dignitary Protection Section. Furthermore, the SWAT team serves as a departmental resource for tactical training and response.
TEU - Traffic enforcement is one of the core functions of the Traffic Enforcement Unit. Traffic Enforcement Unit operations utilize specialized patrol vehicles, detection equipment, and specialized training to address general traffic concerns. These teams are directed to areas experiencing high crash rates and complaints of violations. Traffic enforcement activity levels are primarily dictated by staffing levels and the degree to which enforcement personnel are diverted to other irregular assignments that fall within that unit's purview. These other assignments vary in frequency according to need, and include such services as Radar Enforcement, Traffic Collisions, Checkpoints, and more.
CID - The mission of the Criminal Investigations Division is to provide safety for the citizens of California by bringing Gang and Organized crime-related crimes to an all-time low. Investigators’ main goal is to dismantle all gangs, organized crime groups, and all other criminal groups.
