This Privacy Policy explains how the CHP Conveyor Inspection mobile application ("the App") handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
The App does NOT collect, transmit, or share any personal information with us or any third party. The App does not require you to create an account. Any data you enter — such as worker names, conveyor IDs, inspection dates, shifts, checklist responses, and notes — is stored only on your device. This information never leaves your device unless you choose to share it yourself.
HOW YOUR DATA IS STORED
All inspection records are saved locally in the App's storage on your device. We do not operate any server that receives or stores your inspection data. If you uninstall the App or clear its data, your inspection records are permanently deleted.
SHARING REPORTS
The App includes an option to share an inspection report via WhatsApp. When you tap the share button, the report text is passed to WhatsApp (or another app you select) at your discretion. This action is entirely controlled by you.
PERMISSIONS
The App may request device permissions only to provide its features. Any such permission is used solely on your device and is never used to collect or transmit your personal data to us.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is intended for use by workers in an industrial setting and is not directed at children under the age of 13.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date.
