Active participation in discussions and providing constructive feedback on peers' work is expected.
4. Safety & Emergency Protocols
• Accident Reporting:
Immediately report any injuries, spills, or safety hazards to your instructor or supervisor.
• Emergency Preparedness:
Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures, including fire safety protocols and evacuation routes.
5. Well-Being & Balance
• Life Outside the Lab:
While we strive for excellence in research, remember to prioritize your personal health, enjoy life, and cherish time with loved ones.
6. Data Management & Security
• Data Backup:
Regularly back up all research data to the lab backup system.
• Confidentiality:
You only share lab data, code, or preliminary results with outside parties with explicit permission from Rita.
7. Workspace & Equipment Care
• Cleanliness:
Maintain a clean, organized, and functional workspace.
• Equipment Care:
Treat all lab equipment and property with care. Return tools, reagents, and materials to their designated locations immediately after use.
