Mr Yash M. Chordiya is a dedicated disaster management professional with a strong academic background and a passion for research. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's in Structural Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering at IIT Delhi. His research contributions include journal publications and book chapters, earning him prestigious awards, travel grants, and the Suzuki Foundation Fellowship. His work focuses on Blast, Impact, and Earthquake Engineering, aiming to drive meaningful advancements in the field.
To become a leading researcher in the area of disaster management. I am an engineer with experience in designing sandwich panels for blast and impact resistance, and I am now looking to expand into developing base isolation systems for earthquake protection. I am focused on using structural dynamics and energy dissipation methods to enhance earthquake resilience and eager to contribute to projects to improve building safety in areas vulnerable to earthquakes.
