UPDATE: ALPHA BUILD WITH BUG FIXES AVAILABLE HERE
Notes:
For our Alpha Build, we currently have two issues:
1. Player 2 cannot properly use "Up" & "Down" to navigate menus, but "Right Shift" can still be used for selection
(Player 2's inputs are still fine and working during the gameplay)
2. The sequence will sometimes start playing again in the middle of the gameplay, where the song is already playing, causing an overlapping
The calculated accuracy for hitting notes may be off on slower computers due to lag. In future builds we will be adding calibration to prevent this.
For Best Experience:
After the MainMenu, Please press "Right Shift" first, then navigate using Player 1's controls, then repeat the above steps for each menu (Character, Skill, and Song). This will cause Player 2 to automatically select the first button on the Character, Skill, and Song menus, thus ensuring that Player 2's input does not break the game. After that, everything is fine. Have fun!

Game Controls:
Player 1: "W" "A" "S" "D" for hitting notes, "Left Shift" for using power-ups;
"W" & "S" for UI navigating, "Left Shift" for making a selection
Player 2: "Up" "Down" "Left" "Right" four arrow keys for hitting notes, "Right Shift" for using power-ups
"Up" & "Down" for UI navigating, "Right Shift" for making a selection
Brief Instructions:
The game starts from MainMenu, this will only be navigable by using Player 1 keyboard inputs.
After that, it will proceed to the Characters, Skills, and Songs selection menus. Both players can navigate and make selections. The menu will only proceed after both players make selections. Also, neither player can make the same selection.
Then, these selections will be reflected during the gameplay, where players play against each other. The more 'Perfect' you hit, the more damage your opponent will get. Use power-ups to get an edge in the game.
Player 1's song will be played first. When the song is over, another player wins if one's health bar is empty! If not, player 2's song will be played afterwards and check again!
Update as of 4/10: We were able to fix the bug with Player 2 not being able to navigate menus. We also implemented a quick fix to prevent songs from replaying (though we're still not sure what the underlying issue was and will continue to test). We also realized that in the build the singer switching isn't functioning correctly, even though it tests fine in Unreal.
