About Us
We are a coalition of Halton citizens from all walks of life who started organizing in February 2021 to stand up for preserving farmland, watersheds, air quality and vibrant neighbourhoods within existing boundaries.
While Stop Sprawl Halton is no longer active as a group, our members are still involved in working for sustainable growth with other groups:
We saved our 5000 acres, only for Premier Ford to over-ride the democratic process and add 8300 acres to our urban boundary! He reversed the Greenbelt Grab, join a local group and let's get to work on the Provincial Growth Plan and Bill 23!
