Choice Invoice ("the App," "we," "us") is an invoicing app for freelancers and small businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it's used, and your choices.
Information you provide directly:
Your business details (name, logo, contact information, accent color/branding preferences) that you enter to personalize your invoices
Client information you add (name, contact details, billing address) used solely to generate invoices on your behalf
E-signatures captured within the App when you or your clients sign an invoice
Invoice content: line items, amounts, notes, and payment terms you create
All of the information above — your business details, client information, invoice and quote content, and e-signatures — is stored locally on your device only, in a local database and secure on-device storage. This information is never transmitted to, or stored on, our servers or any third-party server.
Information collected automatically:
Subscription and purchase status (e.g., whether you have an active Pro subscription, trial status) via RevenueCat, our subscription management provider
Basic app usage and crash diagnostics, if enabled by your device settings
Information we do not collect:
We do not collect or store your payment card details. All purchases are processed directly by Apple through the App Store, and Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction.
We use the information above to:
Generate, display, and export the invoices and PDFs you create
Unlock and manage your Pro subscription entitlements
Provide customer support if you contact us
Maintain and improve the App's functionality and reliability
We do not sell your personal information or your clients' information to third parties.
Choice Invoice uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policy:
RevenueCat — manages subscription purchases and entitlements. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy
Apple App Store — processes all in-app purchases and subscription billing
Because all invoice, client, and signature data lives only on your device, we have no copy of it and cannot access, view, or recover it. This data remains on your device for as long as you keep the App installed, and is permanently removed when you delete the App or clear its data.
Subscription and entitlement records are held by RevenueCat and Apple. If you'd like information deleted from those systems, contact us using the details below and we'll help coordinate that request.
Choice Invoice is a business tool intended for freelancers and business owners. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
We take reasonable measures to protect the information handled by the App, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
