Graduate Students

Our laboratory is actively seeking highly motivated Master’s and Ph.D. students to join our team in exploring the following cutting-edge areas:

• Spectroscopic study on the dynamics of many-body states in 2D quantum materials

• Ultrafast spectroscopic study on 2D quantum materials

• High magnetic field (>60 Tesla) science in 2D quantum devices

• Development of quantum light source and quantum sensing technologies based on 2D quantum materials

We invite potential candidates who aspire to gain diverse skill sets in linear and nonlinear optics, ultrafast optics, numerical calculations, and quantum condensed matter physics to apply. 

We welcome applicants from various fields, including physics, chemistry, materials science, and electrical engineering.

Undergraduate Students

We also welcome enthusiastic undergraduate students who wish to join the group. Basic knowledge in optics, condensed matter physics, or quantum physics is a plus, but commitment to work in a team and participate in high-level research projects is more important. We will give priority to students who are willing to commit for multi-semester/summer work.
