• 2017~Present: Solution-processed Sb/Bi-based chalcohalides, such as SbSI, SbSeI, Sb(S,Se)I, and BiSI, and their application to solar cells 

• 2015~2017: Powder-engineering for CH3NH3PbI3 fabrication and its application to solar cells

• 2012~2015: Inorganic-organic heterojunction solar cells based on Sb2S3 family (Sb2S3 Sb2Se3 Sb2(S,Se)3, and CuSbS2) sensitizers

• 2006~2011: Fabrication of highly ordered porous anodic alumina template/membrane and its application to various complex oxide nanomaterials including ferroelectric oxides, such as PbO2, PbTiO3, and Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 nanowires and nanotubes

Biography : Yong Chan Choi received his Ph.D. from Jeonbuk National University (Republic of Korea) in 2011, and his Ph.D. was in the growth and characteristics of complex oxide nanostructures. In November 2012, he joined the Dr. Seok’sb group in the Advanced Materials Division at KRICT, Republic of Korea, as a postdoctoral researcher and worked for three years. He is currently a principal researcher in the Division of Energy and Environmental Technology at DGIST, Republic of Korea. His current research interests are focused on next-generation solar cells based on heavy pnictogen-related chalcogenides and chalcohalides, such as Sb2S3, Sb2Se3, Sb2(S/Se)3, CuSbS2, SbSI, SbSeI, and Sb(S,Se)I. 

b Dr. Seok moved to Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), Republic of Korea, in 2015, continuing his work as a Distinguished Professor.
