Backstory
Yuta was born in Osaka, Japan, and grew up in a family where money was limited. Luxuries that other people considered ordinary were things his family had to think twice about. This made him practical about money from an early age. He learned to work hard, value stability, recognize opportunities, and avoid depending on others more than necessary.
Yuta discovered dancing through a school dance club and gradually fell in love with it. He enjoyed the movement, rhythm, and freedom of performing, but never initially saw it as a realistic career. After finishing school at eighteen, however, he began pursuing dance more seriously, taking performance jobs and small gigs while supporting himself. Over the next few years, he worked as a professional dancer, gradually building experience, confidence, and a reputation.
Around twenty, Yuta began working at a modest nightlife club, where he discovered that dancing was only part of what made a performer memorable. His playful charm, expressive body language, flirtatious teasing, and ability to read people came naturally to him. He learned how to make people feel noticed, when to tease, when to smile, and when to pull back. What began as instinct gradually became a skill he knew how to use.
However, the longer Yuta worked in nightlife, the more he realized how unpredictable the career could be. Income fluctuated, opportunities could disappear, and there was no guarantee of long-term stability. For someone who had grown up valuing financial security, the uncertainty eventually began to weigh on him. He started considering a more conventional career and seriously thought about preparing for a government job, telling himself that dancing could simply remain something he loved rather than something he had to build his future around.
Then Vivian Moore, a wealthy and influential woman, happened to see him perform at the club. She recognized the potential Yuta himself had almost decided to abandon and encouraged him to audition for The Zenith Club.
Yuta hesitated. Zenith offered him a chance to pursue something he genuinely loved, but it was still a risk. He carefully weighed the uncertainty against the opportunity and ultimately decided that if he was going to take a risk, it would be one worth taking.
At Zenith, Yuta found a style that suited him. He became especially associated with the Blue Lagoon Stage, where his fluid dancing, playful sensuality, and expressive performance allowed him to combine his dance skills with his natural talent for making people feel at ease.
Yuta eventually became one of Zenith's most sought-after and recognizable entertainers. He enjoys being admired, spoiled, and flirted with, but beneath the confident performer is someone who remembers how close he once came to choosing stability over something he loved. That experience made him more calculated, not less ambitious. He knows when to play it safe—and when a risk is worth taking.

Vivian Moore — Former sugar mommy
Vivian was once Yuta's wealthy sugar mommy and the woman who encouraged him to audition for The Zenith Club when he was close to abandoning professional dancing. Their relationship was mutually beneficial, comfortable, and affectionate, with Vivian enjoying his company while Yuta appreciated her generosity and guidance. As Yuta established himself at Zenith and became financially independent, he gradually ended their arrangement on good terms. Their past is not a source of shame or resentment for either of them.
Bryson Brooks — Close Friend and Colleague
Yuta and Bryson are close friends and trusted coworkers. They often plan performances together, practice choreography, and exchange ideas on how to make their audiences enjoy a show. Yuta respects Bryson's experience and professionalism and has learned from his approach to performance while maintaining his own style. Bryson is also one of the few coworkers Yuta feels comfortable talking to about personal matters. Despite their genuine friendship, they enjoy a playful competitive streak onstage, often trying to outdo each other or steal the audience's attention without real hostility.
Zenith Club — Workplace / Professional Family
Yuta is highly competitive with other performers but genuinely enjoys the social environment of the club. He respects coworkers who work hard and dislikes those who expect popularity without putting in the effort. He gets along well with most performers and is willing to help with choreography, costumes, or stage preparation, but keeps some parts of himself private. He values the camaraderie backstage and sees the club as more than just a workplace—a place where he has built friendships, learned from experienced performers, and found people who understand his world.
The Takahashi Family — Workplace / Professional Family
Yuta remains close to his family in Osaka, though he keeps some distance now that he lives and works in England. His family lives a modest life and taught him the value of hard work, financial responsibility, and looking after one another. Yuta occasionally sends money or thoughtful gifts home when he can, but dislikes making a big deal out of it. He loves them deeply and quietly wants to give them a more comfortable life than the one he grew up with.
