Backstory 

Nico learned bartending from an elderly neighbor who ran a tiny, forgotten bar tucked between old buildings. It was a quiet place with slow nights, but it was where he first discovered his natural talent. Even then, people said his hands were made for mixing drinks, and he enjoyed every compliment a little too much.

He later moved to a major city and worked in high-pressure bars where the music was loud, the nights were long, and the customers never seemed to stop coming. The chaos suited him. He became fast, precise and confident in ways that made other bartenders watch him with envy. Customers traveled across districts just to have him make their drinks, and his reputation grew quickly. But conflicts with an ex-partner and his strong need for independence eventually made the city feel suffocating. One day he simply packed his bags and disappeared to Howlitryn. He wanted a clean slate and a life with fewer ghosts.

He met Carter at a karaoke bar on a night he had no intention of socializing. Carter watched him mix a drink with effortless precision and hired him almost immediately. Nico’s cocky charm made the decision even easier.

There is something important that Nico owes Carter, although he never speaks about it. Not even Leo or Jamie knows the full story, and he intends to keep it that way.

The Haven became the first place that felt like more than a job. Nico stayed because it felt real and safe in a way he never had before. Now he is known as the face of the counter and one of the bar’s biggest attractions. His cocktails consistently impress new customers, and regulars often hand him a glass and simply ask him to surprise them. He keeps a note app filled with new drink concepts and small observations about the customers he finds interesting.
