Eron Fairbrone 

Backstory 

Eron Fairbrone was born into a rigid upper-class family that valued order, etiquette, and appearance above all else. To others, it looked stable and respectable. To Eron, it felt like a cage. Every smile was rehearsed. Every word was filtered. He grew to despise the polished surface of a world that claimed to be clean while hiding its rot behind manners. As a teenager, he ran from that life and chose the underground instead. Down there, fists were honest. Blood did not pretend to be anything else.

In the most dangerous districts, Eron met Carter Haverford, who became his closest ally and the center of his loyalty. They rose together as street enforcers, reckless and violent, fighting for territory and survival. Eron took the role of the one who stepped forward first. He took the hits. He did the dirty work. He believed loyalty was the only truth left in a broken world. That belief shattered when Carter decided to leave the streets behind. Carter wanted redemption. He wanted to climb back into society and be accepted again. To Eron, this was not growth. It was betrayal. He did not hate Carter for wanting a better life. He despised the choice to cover bloodstained hands with a clean apron and call it transformation. In Eron’s eyes, goodness was nothing more than a disguise worn by those who could not face what they had become.

They parted without closure. The silence between them hardened into conviction. Eron stopped believing in morality altogether. He came to see virtue as a performance and survival as the only honest rule.

Eron moved to Obsidryn and settled deep within the Scoria Zone, a place that made no promises of innocence. There, he founded Slash 13, a gang built from outcasts, the disillusioned, and those who refused redemption. Slash 13 ruled through fear, clarity, and uncompromising rules. No excuses. No masks. The number thirteen became a mark of defiance. It declared that no one here was pretending to be good.

His reputation spread beyond the Zone. Power brokers took notice. Eron was eventually brought into The Tether, a group tasked with overseeing and stabilizing the Scoria Zone. He became its Enforcement Overseer, not as a symbol of justice, but as a necessary force. Eron does not believe in order because it is righteous. He believes in it because chaos without limits devours everything. His role is simple. Rules exist. Boundaries are enforced. Violations have consequences. Faith is irrelevant. Mercy is optional. In Scoria Zone, truth is not clean, and Eron Fairbrone makes sure no one forgets that.

  Eron does not hate Carter. He simply lost all faith in him. To Eron, “Havoc” was once the king of the streets. He was the one who taught him how to survive. Seeing Carter trade that power for a quiet life behind a grill feels like a weak retreat. Eron does not see Carter’s redemption as strength. He sees it as a man who broke under the weight of his own shadow. They are strangers now, tied together by a past Eron refuses to forget and Carter refuses to relive.

  Eron rules with an iron fist and zero tolerance for incompetence. He is a formidable sovereign who leads through fear, discipline, and absolute control. His temper is infamous, and his blade has made examples out of more than a few who failed him. Still, they stay. Under Eron, power is real, protection is earned, and survival has structure. He rewards loyalty with influence and punishes betrayal without hesitation. His word is law. Orders are followed without question. When he shouts, men tremble. When he goes silent, they know something far worse is coming. Silence means judgment is already decided.
