SCREENING AND ADMISSION GUIDELINES A.Y. 2025-2026

CCS PROGRAM OFFERING
MINIMUM ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for the screening process, an applicant must meet the following baseline criteria:
a) University Admission Test:
To qualify for the screening process, applicants must meet the required classification based on the university’s entrance examination results of at least Non-Board Programs in all campuses & All Board and Non-Board Programs in the Binalbagan Campus.
b) Academic Grade:
A minimum General Weighted Average (GWA) of 85 in senior high school.
c) Academic Background:
Open to Grade 12 graduates, previous graduates (AY 2025-2026 and earlier), and transferees/shiftees.
d) Physically and Mentally Fit:
Applicants to the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) and Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) programs must be physically and mentally fit to meet the academic and technical demands of the programs.
d.1 Physical Fitness. Applicants should be in a condition to participate in regular academic activities, including extended computer laboratory work, project development, and other program-related tasks. Any existing medical condition must not hinder the applicant’s ability to complete course requirements, with reasonable accommodations provided when applicable in accordance with institutional policies.
d.2 Mental and Emotional Fitness. Applicants must demonstrate the capacity for critical thinking, problem-solving, sustained attention, and stress management, which are essential for computing-related disciplines. They should be capable of handling academic workload, collaborative projects, and independent learning tasks.
d.3 Compliance and Verification. Applicants may be required to submit a medical certificate issued by a licensed physician attesting to their physical and mental fitness. Additional assessments or guidance counseling referrals may be conducted when necessary to ensure student readiness and well-being.
d.4 Quality Assurance Alignment: This requirement supports Commission on Higher Education (CHED) policies on student welfare and success, as well as ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) standards that emphasize student capability, support systems, and program completion readiness.
d.5 Inclusivity Clause. The institution upholds inclusivity and does not discriminate against applicants with disabilities. Appropriate academic adjustments and support services shall be provided in accordance with national laws and institutional guidelines to ensure equitable access to education.
e) Completion of Online and Physical Requirements
All applicants must fully comply with both online and physical submissions of admission requirements within the prescribed timelines set by the college.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE & REQUIREMENTS
The College adopts a hybrid submission process to promote efficiency, accessibility, and systematic record management. All documents submitted—both digital and physical copies—shall undergo rigorous evaluation, verification, and authentication by the college and the designated screening committee to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all applicant records.
a) Submission of Pre-Screening Documents: [Refer to List of BSIT/BSIS Program Application Requirements—Section III-letter c]
a.1 Applicants are required to submit scanned electronic copies of all pre-screening documents in PDF format or in the file format specified in the official online application form.
● Documents must be clearly scanned, complete, and legible.
● Applicants should use reliable mobile scanning applications (e.g., CamScanner, ClearScanner, or equivalent tools) to ensure document quality and readability.
● All files must be uploaded through the designated campus submission link or official online platform:

a.2 Only applicants who have successfully submitted complete and verified digital documents shall be allowed to proceed to the qualifying examination.
a.3 Incomplete, unclear, or improperly submitted documents may result in delay or disqualification from the screening process.
b) Document Verification and Physical Submission:
Applicants are required to present the original copies and submit one (1) photocopy of each application requirement during the scheduled qualifying examination for their respective program and campus.
● On-Site Submission Requirements: On the day of the qualifying examination, applicants must submit their complete hard-copy documents (one set of photocopied documents only) in the following format:
o Placed in a long-sized white folder
o Enclosed inside a long-sized brown envelope
o Proper Labeling of Documents:
The back of the envelope must be clearly and neatly labeled with the following information: Full Name of Applicant, Program Applied For, Contact Number, and Email Address

c) List of BSIT/BSIS Program Application Requirements:
✔ If you are an applicant who graduated on or before AY 2025-2026, Grade 12 Report Cards or DepEd Form 138 is needed and should be certified true copy.
✔ If you are a transferee or shiftee, you must have a Transcript of Records (TOR) (with a detailed course description attached from your previous school) with No failures and must be Certified True Copy.
✔ Certificates as proof of exemplary achievements: Academics, and Extra-Curriculars ((Optional)
✔ Equity and Inclusivity Certification Requirements (Optional)
Applicants who belong to identified equity and inclusivity target groups must submit a valid ID, official certification, or supporting document issued by a recognized authority to verify their status. Any of the following categories may apply:
1. First-Generation College Students
o Applicants whose parents/guardians have not completed a college degree (no need attachment)
2. Indigenous Peoples (IP)
o Certification from the appropriate tribal or government authority
3. Persons with Disabilities (PWD)
o Valid PWD ID or medical certification
4. Residents of Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDA)
o Barangay certification or equivalent proof of residency
5. Students from Low-Income Households (Bottom 40%)
o Proof of income or certification from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) or other authorized agencies
6. Beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps)
o Official 4Ps ID or certification
7. Solo Parents and Their Children
o Valid Solo Parent ID issued by the local government unit
8. Children of Rebel Returnees
o Certification from the appropriate government agency
9. Orphans
o Death certificate of parents or certification from a recognized institution/agency
10. Children of Subsistence Farmers or Fisherfolk
o Certification from the barangay, cooperative, or relevant government agency
✔ Medical Requirement
Medical Certificate (for Qualified Students for Enrollment Only):
It must be issued by a licensed physician or the campus health services unit (CHMSU Medical Doctor).
The certificate must confirm that the applicant is physically and mentally fit to pursue the academic program.
This requirement shall be submitted upon confirmation of admission/qualification for enrollment.
Important Notes
All documents are subject to validation and verification by the College.
These requirements support the institution’s commitment to inclusive access to education, consistent with national policies and ASEAN quality assurance standards.
Submission of falsified documents or failure to adhere to the instructions for document submission results in ineligibility for pre-qualification screening for the College of Computer Studies (BSIT and BSIS Programs).
