is based in Cumberland ME. She takes personalized photos for her clients, in her studio or on location.
During my senior year of high school, I took an Internship course. I was guided towards internships that were within my interests. I interned with an art teacher from a local intermediate school, as well as with a successful, self-employed photographer. These experiences taught me a lot, from helping young students find their creative side to setting up lighting and backdrops for professional portraits in and outside of the studio.
Responsibilities that I had while working with Pattie
Record behind-the-scenes footage for social media page
Keep young kids' attention on the camera during family photoshoots
Be able to work with heavy-duty equipment, set it up, and break it down
Coordinate schedules with Pattie and attend photoshoots outside of the school given internship time
Responsibilities in the Classroom
Be knowledgeable of safety precautions, and emergency exits in case of evacuation
Guide students safely while still allowing them to learn for themselves how new tools work
While teaching my own lesson, keep students engaged, focused, and interested
Maintain a friendly and happy demeanor regardless of mood
I was able to connect my family and other families to Pattie and even got in front of the camera myself.
