I began taking fine art classes at the age of six, where I learned to draw and work with pastels, watercolor, and oil paint. Later on in these classes, I studied traditional Renaissance techniques inspired by the masters, which gave me a strong technical foundation and shaped the way I approach art. This early training played a major role in my artistic development. At Costa Mesa High School, I continued to grow as an artist through AP Drawing, strengthening both my artistic concepts and technical execution.
By studying Renaissance master painters, I developed my painting skills through close observation and replication of their works. Their use of light, color, composition, and layering techniques such as glazing. Analyzing their methods of impressionism taught me how to build depth, realism, and visual harmony in my own work while maintaining strong technical precision.
