The girls fought hard throughout the sets, with incredible skill and passion. Each set consisted of amazing back and forth lineups, both teams striving to win. The first set even had to be partially extended for a final victor to be decided. Mrs. Mullen, the girl’s volleyball coach said, “ This game could have ended up either way.” Canyon Hills fought to the end, but ultimately, certain mistakes were found to be costly. In the end, the game was lost, but still was a great effort from the Canyon Hills Coyotes.

Girls Match

Set scores: 25-11, 25-17, 15-11

On October first, the Canyon Hills girls volleyball team had an excellent victory against Briggs. The well prepared team beat Briggs in all 3-sets, winning the game. “Our serves were great, the teamwork and communication was much improved, and we had some excellent kills to finish off rallies.” - Mrs. Mullen. Good Job Coyotes!

Basketball

Tryouts for the Canyon Hills Basketball Teams will be in late January or early February. The exact date is yet to be determined.
