Elephant Breeding Centre

Elephants are huge innocent animals that cry, play, laugh and have a great memory. A trip to their breeding center will demonstrate their lifestyle and how they are taken care of. You can observe them eating, mother caressing her baby, and if lucky witness the rare scene of elephants bathing but only during summer. A senior naturalist will brief about the interesting and unbelievable habits of elephant and you are sure to fall in love with them. It will also prepare you for other following elephant encounters we will have on this tour.

Elephant Safari

Watch different wildlife species wandering nonchalantly in your periphery sitting on the back of a trained elephant exploring the grasslands and integral area of the park. The safari can penetrate deep into the jungle where you can capture even more species and vegetation.

Canoe Ride

With 7 to 10 passengers in one canoe, the boat gradually passes the bank giving plenty of time to observe the aquatic and aerial birds; crocodiles, especially the Marsh Mugger and Gharial; and other animals around the shore with a natural backdrop.

Jungle Walk

It’s an exhilarating and refreshing walk through the Sal tree jungles where our trained naturalists will take you to prime spots to witness wildlife. The area from Kasara to Sukhebar is considered for high chances of spotting gaur, sambar deer, and the Royal Bengal tiger.

Bird Watching

Chitwan is famous for having one of the highest concentrations of resident and migratory birds in the world (over 500 species). Be prepared to be enthroned with the occasional sights of brilliantly colored birds during safari, drives or canoeing.

Tharu Culture

Tharu resemble the ethnic tribes who are the local inhabitants of Meghauli village in the west. The tour is a brilliant opportunity to encounter their tradition and lifestyle. We will also be entertained by their cultural stick dance.
